The Quality Engineer optimizes the quality of Bruno products by acting as a key liaison between engineering, manufacturing, assembly, test, & packaging operations, and supply chain management.
Provides input to product documentation such as drawings, specifications, and inspection and testing methods and plans.
Supports internal operations by educating employees, working to resolve product and process quality issues, and tracking, trending, & reporting performance data.
Communicates quality plans, quality issues, and performance data to suppliers in support of new product introductions as well as serial production.
Travel to provide field training on installing and troubleshooting of Bruno products. Install and perform service work on Bruno products. Operate autonomously, prioritize tasks, and provide resolutions to issues. Able to communicate with all levels of personnel and present training sessions.
Transport incoming and outgoing manufactured parts and products to designated areas using forklift truck, hand jack, carts or other power driven equipment. Supply production areas with a variety of materials. Load material to and from pallets, shelves and trucks. Perform electronic inventory transactions to receive incoming material, verify counts and perform accurate data entry. Use computer software to enter weight and dimensions, process shipments, validate shipping methods and print bills of lading, invoices and shipping labels.
Leads complex maintenance initiatives, mentors other technicians, and supports reliability and process improvement programs through advanced diagnostics and technical expertise.
Perform CNC set-ups and machine operations; load and edit programs; read blueprints and inspect finished parts. Perform manual machine operation set-ups and processes; read blueprints and inspect finished parts. Also perform Orbit Forming and Roller setup and operations.
Perform MIG or TIG welding on a diversified line of standard weldments using American Welding Society welding symbols. Set-up, fit and position weldments having a number of parts, use welding fixtures and jigs where applicable. Work from blueprints and job layouts; use rule, square and gauges. Work is subject to first and final piece inspections for alignment, dimensions and aesthetic requirements. Use hand grinders and dynafiles to remove weld splatter and sharp edges from metal materials. Work on a wide variety of manufactured parts; most on thin-gauge material.
Under the direction of the Robotic Welder Setup designee, the robotic welder operator will perform basic robotic machine operations in a safe and efficient manner.
The service technician is responsible for installing and servicing stairlifts onsite at customers homes. Their professionalism and skill directly reflect the American Stairlifts Brand and they are the key point of contact for a successful customer relationship.

Responsible for providing electrical support for all manufacturing lines. Engineer needs to understand PLC programming, automation and test fixture design. Engineer needs to develop a deep knowledge of Bruno’s product line to assist with troubleshooting. Engineer will be responsible for training workers in new processes and periodic refresher training. Lastly, Engineer will work closely with QA to meet the requirements for calibration and verification of tools and processes.
Assemble electronic or mechanical products from blueprints using assembly fixtures and power bench tools. Cut & crimp wires, form, connect and perform simple soldering in accordance with instructions. Fit and align fine electronic assemblies, recognize defective parts, inspect and test final assemblies on a variety of assembly operations
Perform manual machine operation set-ups and processes; read blueprints and inspect finished parts. Also perform Production Saw, Orbit forming, Plate Roller setup and basic CNC operation.
Perform MIG welding and fabrication duties without the use of fixtures; layout, fit and position weldments sequentially to create a custom stair-lift. Work from prints, drawings and job layouts. Use measuring tools to verify alignment and dimensions. Grind to mechanical requirements with a smooth cosmetic finish.
