  • Overview

    Assists with managing the supply relationship for assigned parts, materials, and/or commodities. Helps managing the timely placing of Purchase Orders and Kanban releases to facilitate meeting Bruno production schedules and on-time customer delivery commitments. Consistently identifies and implements opportunities to take cost out of the procurement process and procured product, in keeping with company goals and objectives.

    Responsibilities

    • Places Purchase Orders and assists in the management of Kanban parts
    • Proactively manages/expedites to insure that supply meets demand
    • Establishes and maintains good working relationship with suppliers and internal customers
    • Support and participate in Lean and process improvement initiatives
    • Completes assigned projects

    Qualifications

    Education & Experience:

    • Currently studying for a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Operations or Supply Chain Management.

     Skills & Abilities

    • Ideally; able to read, analyze, and interpret a variety of information such as technical drawings and specifications, business correspondence, and governmental regulations furnished in written, oral or diagram form. 
    • Create business-level written correspondence and verbally present information to large and small groups, both internally and externally. 
    • Requires job related software skills, Microsoft Office proficiency and the ability to operate a variety of standard office equipment. 
    • Some Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) knowledge, negotiating experience, experience with Total Acquisition Cost Analysis; to include, identifying and quantifying cost drivers, customer centric, and ability to multi-task.     

    Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

    • Regular office environment.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, and touch; and talk and hear.  
    • The employee is occasionally required to move around.
